Our shop has a rich history in San Diego County, founded decades ago by Jeff Sugg, a pioneer who instilled a commitment to doing every job correctly. In 2024, Jeff and Karen Sugg decided to partner with Jake and Joy Schutte to carry on that legacy of excellence. This partnership allows Jeff to focus on being a master craftsman doing what he loves. We remain dedicated to providing the comprehensive drivetrain and related services your vehicle deserves. Further, we continue to provide the full range of drivetrain and related work that your vehicle needs. Our experienced team can assist you with the relationship between the transmission gear, transfer case, and differential/axle gear ratios to achieve the FDR you need for any application. We also repair/upgrade transfer cases and differentials. Other important services include clutch repair, custom axles, steering conversions and upgrades, brake, master cylinder, and brake booster upgrades, and suspension installation for solid-axle 4WD automobiles and Jeeps, including springovers. Finally, our mechanical services enable you to create and maintain your own off-roading traditions with transportation that’s properly outfitted for your favorite purpose.
